A joy filled Family friendly Dance Party!!!!

The Unity Studio invites you to come celebrate and shake off any worries with a night of dancing! We will celebrate the Summer Solstice, our community, and enjoy moving to the sounds from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.

Let's get this summer off to a great start!

Adults $20 + HST (Kids under 12 free)

WHO is SELECTRESS SUNSHINE?
Selectress Sunshine loves Early Reggae, Rocksteady, and Soul, and she would go dancing to it as often as possible when she was younger! Most recently, Selectress Sunshine, kept the tunes spinning at Afro Ascension at Luminato in the Square during the 2024 Luminato Festival. This Toronto local Vinyl DJ plays music from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, including several genres. She DJ’s in venues, events, and festivals around Toronto, and in some other nearby cities. She also plays music on the streets around Toronto, with her portable sound system, and turntable, making music and vinyl visible, and accessible to all who pass by. She is passionate about selecting music that feels good in the body, and is intentional about the songs she chooses to play. Even songs and their lyrics carry a frequency, so she is careful to pick ones that have a positive impact on those she plays for.
