Song Circle
What is it?
The Unity Studio is excited to introduce our first Sacred Song Circle series, offering a unique opportunity for individuals to come together in a sacred, safe space to sing in unison. Co-facilitated by the talented Ciara Adams and Rufus Glassco, this series invites participants to experience the transformative power of community and music. With a long history of collaboration, both as educators with the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Learning Through the Arts program and in private settings, Ciara and Rufus bring a wealth of wisdom and expertise to this circle. Together, they will guide the group in song, creating a harmonious environment that elevates the vibration of the planet while cultivating inner peace, joy, and connection for all involved.
Why?
Singing together can uplift and heal people in profound ways, both emotionally and physically. When we sing as a group, we experience a powerful sense of connection that fosters unity and community. This shared experience creates a sense of belonging, which can reduce feelings of isolation and bring comfort to those who may be struggling emotionally or mentally.
On a physiological level, singing releases endorphins, the body’s natural "feel-good" chemicals, which can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. The act of singing also promotes deep breathing, which helps relax the nervous system, reduces tension, and encourages mindfulness. This combination of physical release and emotional connection can result in a feeling of inner peace and emotional balance.
Singing in a group can also have a spiritual or energetic impact. Many believe that collective singing raises the vibrational frequency of both individuals and the group as a whole, creating a space of healing energy. This can lead to a sense of clarity, emotional release, and a deep sense of joy and harmony. Overall, singing together is a powerful way to heal, connect, and uplift both ourselves and others.

What is Jam Club?
Jam Club is the modern music experience that we all wish we had when we were kids! As schools continue to defund music, Jam Club has emerged as a meaningful substitute, offering a “choose your own adventure” path for learning music, including keyboards, drums, guitars (acoustic, electric and bass), DJ gear, and music production software.
Jam Club was created and is led by Adam Silver, who is a multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and support worker for people with disabilities.
